Claire is a Speech Pathologist with special interests in voice, swallowing and upper airways disorders. She has worked in the acute hospital setting for over 16 years, predominantly in the neurological, respiratory and critical care setting. During this time she has also had an outpatient voice caseload in both Melbourne and the UK. Claire also has a senior position at Monash Health and works alongside Otolaryngologists at the Monash Swallowing Disorders Clinic diagnosing complex swallowing disorders with endoscopy and videofluoroscopy (x-ray). Claire was one of the first speech pathologists to be trained in Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) in Australia and has provided education and training to her peers, as well as presenting workshops in this area. Claire has considerable experience and her special interests include neurological voice disorders and respiratory based disorders, such as vocal cord dysfunction and chronic cough.
